Big Promotion Being Considered

I have been considering running the following promotion (On a Limited Time Basis) on DLF:

Upgrade to Gold and get $7.00 added to your commissions.

This is designed to get a Boost in Upgrades. It will run for a limited time, either a specific number
of upgrades (such as the first 100), or on a time basis (such as One Month).

I would need to have enough funds in PayPal and ORU/Gizmoh to cover the payouts before I run the
promotion, so it won't be in May. Maybe June.

We have about 200 Free members who would reach the $10 payout threshold immediately, and many
more who would reach it shortly thereafter. So the funds need to be in place for the commission run.

I'm working on adding an extra perk or two for Gold members to make the upgrade more Valuable, and
I would like to have that in place before I run this promotion. This would discourage people signing up
for the $7, then cancelling right away, as they would lose their benefits.

Let me know what you think, and any suggestions or ideas.

So basically a 100% rebate for upgrading?

What about upline commissions? How are they affected?

Upline commissions would be paid on the Upgrade only, as well as matching bonuses of course.

If it gets people locked into an upgrade (because they would be in profit) then I think it would be a great idea. Once they get in and are making money that should make them more engaged and maybe get them to bring in friends and family.
